Canvas Quick Start 5.0

Full course description

Course Introduction

This site is your Canvas "how-to" resource.  It was created with educators (YOU!) in mind to facilitate the design and implementation of your course in Canvas. This is NOT everything you need to know to design and deliver an online course.  This is a Canvas “how to” to get up and going with your first Canvas online course.  And, there are a lot of additional resources. Canvas has guides and video tutorials that demonstrate, in detail, how to use the tools in Canvas. We have provided links to related resources for each topic. This is a self-paced course that follows the course development process with a multitude of hints, how-to's and resources.

Online courses vary tremendously.  Development for a short, 1-hour course may be done over a few weeks.  Other courses may take months to develop, reveiw and pilot.  This self-paced course is flexible to accommodate your course development needs.
