Course Introduction

The University of Missouri Extension takes copyright infringement seriously.  It is our responsibility as instructors to be compliant with the laws governing the use of intellectual property.  According to Copyright.gov, "Copyright is a form of protection grounded in the U.S. Constitution and granted by law for original works of authorship fixed in a tangible medium of expression.  Copyright covers both published and unpublished works."  Copyright protects your work, and the work of others.
