Course Overview:
SAFETrack is Missouri’s online Sexual Assault Forensic Evidence Tracking System. The system will allow victims/survivors of sexual assault to track their sexual assault kit throughout the criminal justice process, and is the statewide sexual assault kit inventory system, which will help prevent a backlog of untested kits throughout the state.
 
This can only be accomplished by all users of the system entering/updating information, transferring, and accepting transfers in a timely manner. RSMo 595.220.3 states that once a law enforcement agency is notified by a medical provider that they have a Reported or Anonymous sexual assault kit, they have fourteen (14) days to take possession of the kit, and within fourteen (14) days of taking possession, the law enforcement agency shall take the kit to a laboratory.

1. Learners will self-report an increase in knowledge about  the importance of entering information and the transfer process (initiating and accepting) in a timely manner, not only for victims, but for other users/organizations as well.
 
2. Learners will self-report an increase in confidence on the process of SAFETrack.
